In 2018 I went back into the studio in Austin TX to record three more tracks with girl punk band, Cover Girl: two originals, ‘That shit don’t shine no shoes’ and ‘How it’s gotta be’ plus a punked-up version of Françoise Hardy’s ‘Tous les garçons et les filles’.

Tous les garçons et les filles
Titian, the 16th century Venetian painter, was, according to the Tate gallery catalogue, “famed for his uncompromising blues”. Using previously unknown pigments, he developed new shades of blue, based around ultramarine. In effect he invented The Blues. This was recorded and filmed in Austin TX with Robert Galindo on guitar.
The Bleach Boyz are: Roger West on rhythm guitar and lead vocals, Robert Galindo on lead guitar, Andy Salmon on bass and backing vocals and featuring Tom Johnson on percussion.

Song written in 2012 to commemorate an arrogantly expensive royal wedding and a jingoistic and tax-dodging sporting event both arranged to deflect attention from the continuing tory savagery.
